Federal Focus organizes and sponsors symposia and panels at professional society meetings and conferences. Recent examples include:

A symposium on the issue of Data Access jointly sponsored with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in February 1999. The meeting focused on the Data Access provisions included in the FY 1999 Omnibus Appropriations Act and conference report and was widely attended by governmental officials, industry, academics, professional organizations, and other interested stakeholders.
